The story
Il Verreno is located in Tuscany, not far from Ambra town. This family-run hotel enchants those arriving here with a quiet country house atmosphere. The unparalleled natural environment and the harmony of architecture attract guests.
The English designers of the Tuscan house chose our tiles to cover the individual countertops of the bathroom in the house.
The two wings of the courtyard were made at a slightly different time, so the designers changed it in their style. Classic handcrafted intarsia stitches and mosaic replicas from the 15th century were ordered for the first series, while the mosaics of the other part of the house reveal a more modern world with individually coloured ceramic works of the Rustico series.
The spaces imagined by the designer Liz Clemmow have been created with exciting harmony, providing a home-made rest for the visitors.
A total of 18 variations of countertops have been made, each with a different pattern and other configurations; and the glazed designs were made with a satin fine matte glaze, while the mosaics are dominated by metallic colours. The purpose of the designer was to make the bather feel in a small jewel box.
